ABOUT GLIOBLASTOMA

Glioblastoma is a form of cancer found in the brain. It forms from brain cells known as astrocytes which regulate blood flow, help neuron transmission, help repair scarred nerve tissue, and even regulate communication between neurons. These cancerous astrocytes can expand, damaging normal brain tissue. Symptoms include continuous headaches, blurred vision, nausea, loss of appetite, seizures, difficulty learning, difficulty speaking, and changes in mood and personality.
